An Australian court ordered the payment of compensation to a public official who had an accident while having sex during a business trip, revealed on Monday, local media reported.
Full of judges of the Federal Court of Australia rejected an appeal of agency labor compensation, Comcare, which argued that the tryst was not part of their official duties, the Sydney Morning Herald explains.
To the court the issue was not whether the employee had spent the night having sex or playing cards, because in either case "was at work."
The woman, whose identity was not disclosed, was sent by a government department to a location inside in November 2007 when he was wounded in the face when hitting a lamp while having sex with a friend.
Sore mouth and nose, then the woman faced problems of anxiety and depression and was prevented from working for some time.
